Hi, I’m Dustin, Founder, CEO, Father and Dad-joke lover! I start every Ka-Pop! meeting with multiple dad jokes (and sometimes magic tricks). I believe food should be fun too – why does healthy have to be boring and serious?!?! As I said on Shark Tank, I am serious about our commitment to making Ka-Pop! Snacks always vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, allergen-free, BUT NOT TASTE FREE! Kids and their grandparents love ‘em alike. We bring the whoa factor back to healthy snacking so you can Snack Heroically!
An Athlete's Kitchen
We’re up to something good, and always looking to improve things. It all started with wanting a better snack – something I could grab without all that guilt that comes from empty snacking. I’m as serious about taste and sustainable nutrition as I am about working out and training other athletes. I may be disciplined, but I’m a FOODIE FIRST. It must taste good. So, when the idea for Ka-Pop! literally popped into my head, my wife and I turned our home into a test kitchen and started crafting our perfect snack – using ingredients straight from our pantry. When our insanely picky 6-year old would not stop asking for more, and then our neighbors, we knew we had something!
Planet Power
Our Ka-Pop! quest to keep boring at bay keeps us inventing new flavors and expanding our snack-iverse. We love the way opening a bag of Ka-Pop! Snacks gets people smiling. But those feel-good vibes go beyond the delicious taste. We are dedicated to taking good care of our home planet. Today, almost 80% of the worlds grain production & consumption is corn, rice & wheat – destroying our soil and gut biome. Ancient Grains are not only packed with nutrition, but the plant also actually replenishes nutrients in the soil! DID YOU KNOW that 91% of the land Sorghum is grown on uses ZERO irrigation? That’s why we call them super grains! We partner directly with local family farmers – they even let me drive a combine during harvest. We pay attention to the big picture as much as the small details of what goes into every bite.

So many options, all with the same simple ingredient label: Sorghum, Oil & Seasoning. Nothing artificial – EVER. It’s a whole new world of snacking and everyone is welcome thanks to no allergens, dairy, or gluten.

Ka-Pop! snacks is not just another food company. It’s our family business. In fact, my 3rd grade son wrote in school that he wanted to be CEO when he grows up! We are a small team, located in a little town in Colorado, dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction and changing the food industry for the better.
